The Michelin Le Mans Cup is the first step of the Endurance ladder and is reserved for cars conforming to the current FIA GT3 homologation regulations as well as the LMP3 in conformity with the ACO LMP3 regulation.

The Michelin Le Mans Cup emphases the bronze drivers by dedicating them more track time. All entries must feature at least one driver at this level and only a bronze driver can take part in qualifying. The winning team of the GT3 class will also receive an automatic invitation to the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMGTE Am category.

After a very successful 2018 season, which saw larger grids and great action track, the Michelin Le Mans Cup continues to build the brand at six world class venues in 2019: Le Castellet (France), Monza (Italy), Le Mans (France), Barcelona (Spain), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Portimão (Portugal).

In 2019, 32 cars will fight on track for the right to be called 2019 Michelin Le Mans Cup champions. Five manufacturers (10 cars) will race in the GT3 class - Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin and Lamborghini – along with 22 LMP3 entries for a season that promises to be action packed.

Five of the six races will take place during the same weekend as the European Le Mans Series. A special event, one of the most anticipated for the teams and drivers, will take place at Le Mans. Road To Le Mans, will comprise of two 55-minute races, the last one taking place just before the start of the biggest endurance race in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
